Kimpton Fitzroy London appoints new executive chef

Kimpton Fitzroy London has announced the appointment of Guy Betteridge as its new executive chef, to lead the hotel’s kitchen team.

Kimpton Fitzroy London has announced the appointment of Guy Betteridge as its new executive chef, to lead the hotel’s kitchen team.

He started his career at five-star hotel, The Grove, before moving to London where he spent seven years at The Gordon Ramsay Group working at the Boxwood Café, before moving to three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. He then joined The Savoy Grill, Bread Street Kitchen and Heddon Street Kitchen. 

He joins Kimpton Fitzroy London from D&D’s five-star South Place Hotel where he worked for over two years as the head chef, running The Chop House and the five private dining rooms.

As executive chef at Kimpton Fitzroy London, Betteridge will be overseeing all the food and beverage operations, including the four restaurant and bars: Neptune, Fitz’s, Burr & Co. and Palm Court, in-room dining, and all private events in the ballroom and eight meeting and event spaces.
