Tom Booton has been appointed as head chef at The Grill at The Dorchester.

Tom Booton has been appointed as head chef at The Grill at The Dorchester.

At the age of 26, Booton is the youngest-ever head chef at the restaurant and is heading-up a team of kitchen staff with Adam Nevin joining as sous chef.

Booton's appointment marks a new era for the restaurant and with his interpretation of a modern-day British grill, he aims to create a more relaxed dining experience for guests through the development of new menus and a series of interior updates.

The most prominent interior change will be a statement Pudding Bar, which aims to add an element of theatre to the dining experience, as guests are invited to dine at a chef’s table for their final course, where they can watch the pastry chefs in action.
