The Dakota Manchester hotel will officially open on 18 May 2019, bringing with it the largest suite in the city, a Champagne room and a cigar garden.
Situated on Ducie Street close to Piccadilly Station, Dakota Manchester will house 137 luxury bedrooms and 20 luxury suites including the the penthouse suite, known as the Grand Deluxe Suite.
Food and beverage will be offered at The Dakota Grill, a neighbourhood brasserie with waterside views, serving a classically-inspired menu with seasonal ingredients and flavour. It also has private dining areas available for parties of up to 24.
The hotel’s cocktail bar provides a drinks list combining signature classics with bespoke in-house creations, as well as a wine list. Accompanied by the Champagne Room, this space will be available for parties of up to 30 guests.
The Cigar Garden is a purpose-built cigar terrace, designed to bring some of old-school Mayfair to Manchester. The outdoor space is warmed by gas fires and as well as the cigars, there’s a collection of premium cognac and whisky.
Externally, the waterside terrace offers a spot for al fresco drinking and dining, available for exclusive use for up to 80 guests.
It is the fifth hotel in the Dakota Hotels Group, a partnership between hotelier Ken McCulloch and Evans Property Group.
