New cocktail experience at Ace Hotel Shoreditch

A brand new cocktail menu launching this month in Ace Hotel London Shoreditch’s Lobby Bar.

Toasting the marriage between art and cocktails, Volume 2 of the “Notes From A Hotel Bar: A Compendium of Art and Spirits” menu has been curated by Ace Hotel London’s bar manager, Chris Green and is available to try in The Lobby Bar now.

Separated into three sections, the new menu includes a whole host of innovative cocktails including classics such as the aromatic A Magical Realist – Tapatio blanco, bergamot, honey, black peppercorns, rose, tarragon; the light and refreshing City Folk – Bombay Sapphire, almond, lemon, raspberries, soda and a transatlantic take on the Espresso Martini in the shape of the Espresso Continental – Jack Daniel’s No.7,Grey Goose La Vanille, almond croissant, coffee.

The second section is devoted to optimism featuring a selection of serves designed to give drinkers a rosy retrospective such as the indulgent Bourbon-bon-bon – a heady mix of Woodford Reserve bourbon, chocolate bourbon almond cream wash, soda, bon bon; the colour-changing That Unicorn Drink – Bombay Sapphire, butterfly pea flower, nettle, lemon, soda and the classic Green Lady – Bombay Sapphire, St. Germain elderflower, lemon, cucumber, egg white.
The third section is geared towards those following a no- or low-alcohol lifestyle and each drink has been designed to come in under 6% ABV (some include less that 1% alcohol).

Highlights include the Asian-inspired Near East / Far East – Bombay Sapphire, Szechuan pepper, lemongrass, bergamot, tonic and No Room / Much Room – Bacardi Carta Blanca, shiitake, kefir, lemon, soda.

In addition to the new cocktail menu the Max Lamb designed The Lobby Bar, will feature a selection of artworks by Ace Hotel London’s Artists in Residence, who have been invited to spend a night at the hotel and create new works inspired by the hotel.
