Sofitel London St James appoints new chef

The Balcon restaurant at Sofitel London St James hotel has announced that Simon Wood-row has joined as restaurant head chef.

This is very exciting news for the team, as Woodrow has established himself on the London culinary scene as one of the most talented and creative head chefs in the capital.

His career took off when he joined Michelin-starred and award-winning chef Anthony Deme-tre’s Arbutus Restaurant in 2010, where he progressed from demi chef de partie to Senior Sous Chef over 3.5 years.

As the culinary team will soon embark on a new and exciting journey, Simon’s experience and knowledge of London dining scene will be a key asset for the success of The Balcon restaurant concept.
