This summer, the Sanderson Hotel will present its Berners Terrace in collaboration with Peroni Ambra and Martini Riserva Speciale.

From 21 May to 30 September, guests will be enticed to take a step away from the bustle of Oxford Street and enjoy a selection of speciality beverages while soaking up the surrounds on a terrace brought to life by flowers and foliage.

For four months, Berners Terrace at Sanderson will be transformed into a celebration of the Italian summer, drawing inspiration from the flavours of Martini Riserva Speciale and Peroni Ambra.

Martini Riserva Speciale is a celebration of the homeland of MARTINI, Piemonte, made with local wines, revered for their depth of flavour and carefully selected herbs. The three expressions of the award winning range, Rubino, Ambrato and Bitter have been crafted specifically to compliment each other, add a complexity to classic Italian cocktails, and bring an added luxury to the Italian aperitivo occasion.

A take on the classic Italian aperitivo, Peroni Ambra brewed and bottles in Padova, Italy, combines the crisp and refreshing taste of Peroni Nastro Azzurro with the sharpness of Italian Chinotto, a rare citrus fruit grown in the Ligurian region of Italy. Peroni Ambra draws from the bitterness of a negroni and the lightness of prosecco to offer an extremely well balanced drink. This serve is changing the way people think about beer.

Martii Riserva Speciale will be the base of several refreshing cocktails, including Aperitivo Mule comprising of Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino, Franklin & Sons Ginger Beer and lime, and the Fitz Garibaldi, made with with MARTINI Riserva Speciale Bitter, Bombay Gin, MARTINI Riserva Speciale Rubino and orange juice.

All cocktails are priced at £13 and will be created by a member of the bar team from a portable trolley carrying all the elements to craft cocktails at the table which are mixed to individual tastes and topped with zesty orange peel garnish.

When ordering a Peroni AMBRA, the serve will be built from the trolley into a bespoke Italian tumbler glass, over ice, and garnished with an orange peel twist in front of the guest.

Following a complimentary aperitivo snack on arrival, a menu of small bites will also be available including treats such as Crispy Gnocchi, pesto and parmesan, and Grilled Octopus with roast lemon puree. Snacks are priced from £6 to £8.
