The Atlantic Hotel, Jersey has announced the appointment of Jaroslav Sedlacek as F&B manager.
Relocating to Jersey from the Michelin-starred Tudor Room at Great Fosters Hotel in Surrey, Sedlacek brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
He holds a Diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), giving him a profound knowledge of his subject which he loves to share with guests.
His passion for food and wine began during the first years of his working life in Australia, where he gained experience in the hospitality industry.
A love of travel saw him move across the globe to Toronto where he studied for his international sommelier qualifications, before moving to the UK.
His appointment at The Atlantic Hotel completes the new food and beverage team, where Sedlacek’s expertise will see the planned introduction of wine tasting events, a new cocktail list featuring seasonal ingredients, and further development of the wine list which features more than 500 wines from around the world.
